RRR achieves 2nd position at Hollywood critics Association awards beats Tom Cruise, Batman and more

RRR and it’s groundbreaking achievements in the history of Box office collection is not hidden from anyone, not only SS Rajamouli’s period drama received a lot of love from it’s National audience but the pan India film starring Ramcharan Teja and Jr. NTR, two of South India’s greatest superstars, garnered a lot of positive response globally and ruled the Netflix top 10 trending in non English section for a long time. Although from time to time many Hollywood critics have complimented the film’s extraordinary screenplay and execution, this time RRR made big after bagging 2nd position at Hollywood Critics Association awards beating Tom Cruise, Top Gun Maverick, Batman and many more big labels.

RRR achieves 2nd position at Hollywood critics Association awards 

RRR, which was helmed by SS Rajamouli was nominated as the first Indian movie for the 2022 Hollywood Critics Association Midseason Awards, came in second. RRR faced competition from major Hollywood movies like Top Gun: Maverick, Elvis, The Batman, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, among others. Everything Everywhere All At Once won the top spot in the award section.

RRR beats Batman and Top Gun: Maverick to bag Hollywood critics Association awards

Indian fans are currently on cloud 9 after the film managed to earn such massive achievement on the global front. With this RRR became the first Indian movie to receive a prestigious Hollywood Critics Association nomination and bag the top position giving a tough fight to Hollywood biggies. 


RRR completes it’s 100 day of release

Following which on July 2, 2022 RRR marked it’s 100 days anniversary on Big and OTT screens. The film was officially released on March 25 and after completing its theatrical run time is currently airing on Netflix and Zee 5.
