Salman Khan Birthday:  Bollywood’s sensational Salman Khan turns 59 this year. He has been a part of the industry for more than three decades and amassed unfathomable prestige, love, and acclaim for his diverse works. Over the years, he has become one of the megastars of Bollywood, who has launched many young talents and even worked as a launchpad for them with his special appearances in their films, and songs. 

The popularity of Salman Khan has not just helped newcomers, but even stolen the limelight from the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar with his charismatic, and quirky personality on screen. Here are his top cameos where Salman Khan became the buzz more than the main cast. 

Baby John 

Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh starrer Baby John was released in theaters on 25 December. The audience was waiting with bated breaths to witness Khan in the film as his special appearance. He made an action-packed cameo in Baby John as Agent Bhaijaan sending the audience into a frenzy.  

Singham Again 

Salman Khan reprised his popular cop role of Inspector Chulbul Panday for a special cameo in the post-credits of Singham Again directed by Rohit Shetty. Despite the many cameos in the film by the likes of Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, Khan’s appearance was the headlines everywhere. 

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 

Salman Khan took away the spotlight from Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji with his extended cameo in the romantic drama, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, as Aman Mehra. Arranged to marry Anjali (Kajol) in the film, he became a symbol of letting go, and real love even due to his emotional portrayal of Aman Mehra, who loved Anjali so much that he found his happiness in hers. 

Baghban

A doting adopted son, Alok Malhotra remains one of the most loved cameos of Salman Khan in the movie Baghban starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Mailni. He became the poster boy of an ideal son and a loving lover in the film. 

Saawariya 

Marking the Bollywood debut of Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, Saawarita saw a cameo of Salman Khan as the former’s love interest named Imaan Pirzada. Despite a few seconds of screen time on screen, he added a boost to the film of the then-newcomers. 

Tees Maar Khan

Salman Khan has a fun cameo in the song ‘Wallah Re Wallah’ in the film Tees Maar Khan starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The quirky dance number was loved by the audience.  

Salman Khan holds a magnanimous place in the Hindi film industry. The popularity of his cameo proves his mass appeal to the audience that is willing to pay for a ticket only to see him on screen for a few seconds or minutes.
