31 Mar, 2025

Entertainment Update:  Bollywood has been disappointing its audience for a while in recent times. With big-budget films not holding water at the theaters, the audience is heavily relying on digital streaming platforms to provide quality content to them. Theater-going as a practice is on a decline, and with that, the poor plots and acting in films further create disinterest in the audience.

Now one of the biggest stars of the Hindi film industry himself has called out the reality. Salman Khan recently said that if such bad films are made then they will surely flop. The actor pointed to the rampant competition between directors to make films to challenge each other rather than please their audience. The addition of Western elements of filmmaking is not working in favor because they are not altered to meet the expectations of the region’s audience and therefore the popularity of Hindi films has seen a decline.
