Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Death Anniversary: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of the leaders of India's independence movement and the country's first deputy prime minister and home minister, passed away on December 15, which is also his death anniversary. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, awarded Bharat Ratna, breathed his last on 15 December 1950. To pay tribute to his contribution to the unity of the country, a huge statue of him has been set up near the Narmada River in Gujarat.
