Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection: After Om Raut directed Adispurush’s massive backlash and negative response from the fans, Bollywood has been on the edge of being boycotted again. Thankfully, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s musical romance ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is regaining momentum for Hindi cinema, and has continued to wow fans on the 4th day of its release. The movie performed a better opening weekend than ‘The Kerala Story’.
‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is continuing its successful run in theatres despite earning mixed reviews from critics. Satyaprem Ki Katha has performed well at the box office thus far, better than Kartik Aaryan’s most recent film, Shehzada (2023), a remake of the Telugu movie ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’.
The movie’s success over the week, however, is still up. The movie made Rs 9.25 crore on its opening day, but on Friday, that amount dropped to Rs 7 crore. On Saturday, nevertheless, the love drama saw a rise of 44.29% and brought in Rs 10.10 crore. The movie has so far brought in Rs 38.35 crore. As Adipurush and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke failed to impress the audience, so it’s possible that its box office performance will improve over the next few days.
Satyaprem Ki Katha is a musical romance starring Kartik Aaryan (Satyaprem aka Sattu) and Kiara Advani (Katha) in lead roles. Kartik attempts to impress Kiara as he pursues her for marriage. However, following their marriage, Kiara and Kartik encounter more challenging situations together. Directed by Sameer Vidhvans, the movie also stars Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania in supporting roles. Kartik and Kiara Advani are collaborating for the second time in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, after appearing together in the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was released in 2022 and was a blockbuster hit.
