School Reopen:
Soon after the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, the schools and universities in the country are reopening. And with this, speculations are being made towards when will Delhi schools reopen.
Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal recently conducted a meeting of DDMA along with CM Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and other education and health minister attending the meeting concerning Delhi school reopen. The meeting decided upon forming a special committee to make a detailed plan on when to reopen the Delhi schools.
While Deputy CM Manish Sisodia states that Delhi schools being shut for a long time has caused a huge loss of the studies. Adding further, Sisodia stated that after being asked, out of 8 lakh parents, around 90% of guardians have voted in favor of opening Delhi schools.
It must be noted that after the formation of the DDMA committee, a decision on when will Delhi schools reopen, will be made.
