Sex Education season 4 release date & teaser out; Laurie Nunn creation to bid final goodbye

Sex Education season 4: Netflix popular franchise Sex Education will soon mark its return only to say a final goodbye to its fans. While the fans were eagerly anticipating the return of Asa Butterfield and Emma Mackey as Otis and Milburn and Maeve Wiley, Netflix has announced the show’s closure with season 4. The coming of age comedy drama series ‘Sex Education’ is a British teen show that chronicles the struggles that the fictional Moordale Secondary School's students, faculty, and parents have as they navigate through multiple dilemmas related to sexual intimacy. Netflix has renewed one of its all time showstoppers ‘Sex Education’ for the last time. The show will mark its debut on the OTT streamer in September. Sex Education season 4 will be released on Netflix on September 21.

Sex Education season 4 teaser 

Dropping a 1 min 13 sec long teaser video on Youtube, Netflix wrote “Let's go out with a bang. Sex Education returns for a fourth and final season on September 21. Hope you come.” The teaser opens with Ortis introducing himself to a bunch of students and stating how he always thinks about sex, basically living and breathing sex. And while everyone glares at him, it's just us and Eric who would understand what’s going on within him. 

Sex Education season 4 cast

Apart from the returning cast members  Daniel Levy will be joining the season 4 of Sex Education. As per Variety, Daniel Levy will be seen portraying the role of a famous author Thomas Molloy. Apart from the show also stars Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Alistair Petrie, Mimi Keene, and Aimee Lou Wood in the lead role. 

As per Variety Laurie Nun in a letter to fans wrote "We are incredibly proud of 'Sex Education' and feel indebted to our brilliant writers, cast and crew who put so much heart into making every episode. They have worked tirelessly to bring you the final series, and we can't wait to share it with you."

Sex Education season 4 plot

Sex Education season 4 will mark a new journey for Ortis and Eric. Dropping a glimpse about the plot the portal states "Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis (Butterfield) and Eric (Gatwa) now face a new frontier - their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, whilst Eric is praying they won't be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students - they thought they were progressive but this new college is on another level.”
