Sharmaji Namkeen: The upcoming Bollywood film Sharmaji Namkeen is a much awaited film, and why not it should be? For the first time, in the history of Bollywood, the film features two great actors in one single role. The film featured the legendary actor Rishi Kapoor in the titular role. The veteran actor Rishi Kapoor struggled with cancer and passed away while the shoot of the film was only half way done. The makers appointed Paresh Rawal for the remaining part.

The producer of the film Farhan Akhtar recently shared the trailer of the Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal starrer film Sharmaji Namkeen. The film is a coming of age story of an old retired man. Farhan penned down a short note which reads “Lekar dher saara pyaar, do adbhut kalakaar ek screen par chhayenge pehli baar. #SharmajiNamkeen, trailer out now”, translates to, “With loads of love, two amazing actors will be seen on screen for the first time.” Here is the trailer:

Sharmaji Namkeen Release Date and Cast

The film Sharmaji Namkeen is helmed by the director Hitesh Bhatia and it is a collaborative production of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, and Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey’s McGuffin Pictures. banners. This film also features Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Isha Talwar, Sheeba Chaddha, Ayesha Raza, Satish Kaushik, Parmeet Sethi in pivotal roles. This film is an amazon original film and it will be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 1st March, 2022.
