Shiv Sena Leader Shot Dead: Sudhir Suri was shot dead in public, was protesting outside the temple

Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was shot dead in broad daylight on Friday in Amritsar. Shiv Sena leaders were sitting on a dharna outside the temple in protest against the idols of Gods being found in the garbage outside Gopal Mandir. During this, someone from the crowd shot and killed him.

Punjab security questioned 

After the murder of Sudhir Suri, questions have arisen once again regarding the law and security of Punjab. Sudhir Suri was considered a big face of the party in Shiv Sena (H). Sudhir Suri was taken to the hospital after being shot, where doctors declared him brought dead. While the police is investigating the matter. An Amritsar police official said that the accused has been arrested and his weapon was also recovered.

Other plans were also made to attack Suri 

Last month itself, 4 gangsters were arrested in the joint operation of STF and Amritsar. Among them were henchmen of Rinda and Linda. It was revealed that a plan was being made to kill Sudhir Suri. The arrested gangsters were planning the attack on Suri, for which he had also done a recce. However, he could not succeed in this and the police and STF caught him even before the incident.
