Shabina Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the producers of Rowdy Rathore, are currently working on the Rowdy Rathore sequel, but without Akshay Kumar this time. Other than Akshay Kumar, it is difficult to envision any other actor playing Rathore. However, Akshay feels reluctant to take on Rathore’s position once more. The producers hope to start shooting the movie in the next two months.

Sidharth Malhotra in Rowdy Rathore Sequel
According to sources, Shabina Khan has been working on Rowdy Rathore 2 for some time, but she has been waiting for everything to line up. She has now been able to solidify the main concept for Rowdy Rathore 2 and is currently in negotiations with Sidharth Malhotra to have him portray a cop in the movie. Sid has also expressed interest, although he is still debating whether or not to take on a law enforcement role outside of the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe.
