Sikandar: Salman Khan Addresses The 31 Years Age Gap With Rashmika Mandanna

Sikandar Trailer Launch:  Sikandar starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna will be released in theaters on 30 March. Ahead of the film's release, the stark age gap between the main lead of the film has been creating a buzz in the media. Addressing the same at the trailer launch of the film, Khan said, “When the actress does not have a problem… then what is the problem with the people.” 

Khan’s casualness about the wide age gap between the hero and heroines in the film is a point towards the underlying culture of women’s shelf life in the profession. The hero remains a subject of romance and desire irrespective of age whereas women after their 30s and 40s are stereotyped into certain roles.
