Southern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2021:

The Southern Railway has announced the recruitments for around 3,322 vacancies for the post of Apprentice, via its official website of Southern Railway which is, iroams.com. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts until 30th June 2021. 

The posts of Apprentice have been invited for the following, GOC Workshop, Trichy and Madurai Division, Loco Works, Carriage and Wagon Works, Electrical Workshop, Railway Hospital/Perambur and Chennai Division, Trivandrum Division, Palghat Division, Salem Division, and Signal and Telecommunication Workshop and Podanur.

Eligibility Criteria for Southern Railway Recruitment 2021:

To apply for the post of Apprentice in the Southern Railways, a candidate must have cleared his/her Class 10th Exams from a recognized institute by scoring a minimum of 50% marks. 

Who aren't eligible to apply for the Southern Railway Recruitment 2021:

Any candidate with a higher qualification such as Diploma or Degree can’t apply for the posts of Apprentice.

Selection Process for the Southern Railway Recruitment 2021:

All the candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list which will be prepared considering all the candidates who have applied. It must be noted that the merit list will be prepared as per the percentage of marks in the Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which the Apprenticeship will be done. Also, the panel will be as per the simple average marks secured in the Matriculation and ITI.
