Indian Startup News: According to a report by The Policy Advisory And Research Firm Startup Genome, India has the world’s fourth-highest number of startups. According to the study, India has garnered more than $50 million in venture capital investment. In India, there are 429 scale-up enterprises with a total Venture Capital Investment of $127 billion and a cumulative Technical Value Investment of $446 billion. India has also surpassed the United Kingdom in both of these investments.
The report highlights nations that have received venture capital investments totaling more than $50 million. America, China, and the United Kingdom are the top three on this list. According to the research, early-stage firms in India with a high Local Connectivity Index are generating their income twice as fast as startups with a low index. This notion is known as the "Local Connectivity Index." In addition, the paper emphasises cross-border linkages. Indian startups are becoming increasingly dominant on a global scale. More than half of Indian startups serve clients from outside of Asia.
