Latest Stock Market News: The stock market surged for the fifth consecutive trading session on Thursday, with the Sensex crossing the 66,000-point barrier. Apart from that, the market capitalization of BSE-listed businesses reached a new all-time high due to the market’s continued bullishness for three consecutive days, including the last day of the previous trading week (Friday) and the two days of this week (Monday and Tuesday). On Thursday, the market capitalization of businesses listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) touched an all-time high of Rs 319.10 lakh crore.
The market capitalization of listed businesses has grown by roughly Rs 1.77 lakh crore, resulting in an increase in investor wealth of approximately Rs 1.77 lakh crore. The biggest gainers in trading on September 7th were Coal India, L&T, IndusInd Bank, SBI Life Insurance, and SBI Nifty. Tata Consumer Products, M&M, Britannia Industries, Sun Pharma, and Infosys were the top Nifty losses.
