Indian-American Neal Mohan will be the new CEO of video streaming platform YouTube. Earlier, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki has resigned from her post. Neel Mohan of Indian origin will replace Susan Wojcicki. Neal Mohan is currently the Chief Product Officer of YouTube. He has been a longtime collaborator of Susan Wojcicki.
Neal Mohan will now join a growing list of Indian-origin CEOs at the helm of US-based global giants including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai.

Neal Mohan is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He was a longtime collaborator of Susan Wojcicki, having joined Google in 2007 with the DoubleClick acquisition. Mohan was appointed Chief Product Officer at YouTube in 2015. He focused on shorts, music and subscriptions in his role as Chief Product Officer at YouTube. Neel Mohan has also worked with Microsoft.
