Tata Motors has launched the electric variant of the popular LCV Ace. Tata Ace EV will be available in the market by 2023 and the company has signed MoU with Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket and several MNCs who are into last-mile delivery.
Its price will be announced at that time. It has already received orders for 39,000 units from a group of aggregators including Amazon, BigBasket, City Link, DOT, Flipkart, MoEVing, LetsTransport and Yelo EV.
It gets a 7-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. It has radio, USB, Bluetooth and AUX connectivity. For phone charging, it has two USB ports of 5 volts. The speaker is fixed near it. Seat belt information is also available on the screen. It also shows the phone's battery, network details. A Traditional rocker button is given to increase / decrease the volume. There are also physical buttons for next and previous songs.
The instrument cluster and infotainment system have been installed in the center of the dash. Both are on top of each other. The instrument cluster also comes with a digital look. It also gets information about time, driving mode, battery reminder, battery charging.
In this, there are many small icons at the bottom. Which will give different information. It also gets features like rear parking camera, tire pressure monitoring system. For driving, a switch is available in it, in which driving, neutral, reverse modes are given.

Ace EV is the first product from Tata Motors to get the EVOGEN powertrain. It gives a certified range of 154Km on a single charge. It has a powerful battery pack of 21.3 kWh, which generates 36Bhp power and 130Nm peak torque. To increase the driving range, it gets an advanced battery cooling system and regenerative braking system. This cargo vehicle also supports fast charging.
In the Indian market, this vehicle is popular by the name of 'Chhota Hathi'. It has a 70 percent market share. It also comes in petrol, diesel and CNG variants.
