As for safety, the Avinya will be equipped with connected car tech, advanced driver assistance systems, and enhanced structural safety. The platform has also been engineered to global standards with improved levels of waterproofing and dust protection.

Tata Avinya Interior

There is a clean and very minimalist look to the cabin. The far ends of the dash also have a screen to show the feed from the wing-mounted rear view cameras.

There is seating for up to five people with plenty of legroom in both the rear bench style seats and the modern bucket seats up front that can swivel. Tata has also used sustainable materials throughout the interior and there is a neatly incorporated aroma diffuser in the centre armrest to add to the cabin’s unique ambience.

Tata Avinya Exterior

The Avinya is Tata’s Gen-3 EV architecture, which is based around the battery and electric motors, allowing the carmaker to push out the wheels to the far corners and maximise the cabin space. There is a new LED light bar at the front showing the Tata logo while the headlamp design is slim too along with a large grille which being an EV is not the usual one with standard petrol/diesel cars.

The side view gets a floating roof design, huge wheels, and a clean look but with sharp lines. The rear gets a long LED tail-light bar that runs across the entire width of the rear. The concept has butterfly doors that open to reveal a spacious cabin.
