Tata Tiago EV and Citroen C3 Electric are the two most affordable and talked about electric cars in the country right now. Both of them are tough competition for each other. Let’s look at their specifications and find out which is better.
Two battery packs, rated at 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh, respectively, with stated ranges of 250 km and 315 km, power it. While the latter generates 74 bhp/114 Nm, the former generates 60 bhp/110 Nm. Depending on the version, the Tiago EV comes with either a 3.3kW or 7.2kW home charger. According to claims, it can be charged from 10% to 80% using DC fast charging in 57 minutes.
The 29.2 kWh battery pack and the 3.3 kW onboard AC charger are both utilized by the EC3. It is propelled by a front-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 143 Nm of torque and 56 Bhp of power. On a single charge, it travels 320 kilometers. Citroen claims that the eC3 EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.8 seconds. At the same time, it has a top speed of 107 km/h. A DC fast charger only needs 57 minutes to charge the battery to 10–80% of its capacity compared to 10.5 hours for a domestic charger to charge it fully.
