TCS Hiring News: TCS Announces 40,000 Freshers Recruitment, No Large-Scale Layoffs

TCS Freshers Hiring: After firing some of its employees in the June 2023 bribing recruitment case, India’s one of the leading IT firms Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) recently announced the hiring of around 40,000 young graduates in the company. While many tech firms including Infosys have discarded the plan to hire freshers, TCS took the one step forward to offer the opportunity to the young minds.

No Layoffs for TCS

TCS COO Subramaniam stressed that the business had no intentions of large-scale layoffs. He added that although TCS would totally concentrate on the hiring process by taking a strategic approach and modifying it depending on the market conditions, the business will continue lateral hiring. According to a report, 60,000 out of TCS’s 600,000 employees, or around 10%, have received the essential training and skills over the previous year and are now prepared for deployment.
