While on one hand, the process of retrenchment of employees is going on in big tech companies, on the other hand, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) is ready to become a big support for the employees. A clear opinion has been kept on behalf of the company regarding the retrenchment of employees. The company's top official says that the company is not in favour of lay-offs, as TCS believes in enhancing the talent of the employees for a long-term career.
Not only this, it has been said on behalf of the company that those employees who were part of a big tech company and have currently lost their jobs, will also be given a job opportunity.
The company's Chief Human Resources Officer Milind Lakkar clarified many things while talking to the news agency PTI. On retrenchment of employees, Milind Lakkar said that the company considers the employee as its responsibility after joining the job. The aim of the company is to enhance the talent of the employees instead of retrenchment. Not only this, it believes in training the employees for any shortcomings. Milind Lakkar said that TCS, a company that employs more than 6 lakh people, will announce a salary hike for its employees this year as in previous years.
