Tejas Trailer Release: Kangana Ranaut Fights Terrorism in this Aerial Combat Movie

Indian Air Force Day 2023: After giving a glimpse of the inspirational story of the life of IAF officers in the teaser revealed last week, the makers of “Tejas” finally released the much-anticipated trailer starring Kangana Ranaut in the titular role, taking off terrorism that is hindering the nation’s pride. Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the movie is expected to give an equal dose of aerial combat, action, and true patriotism. Initially scheduled to be released on October 20, 2023, the movie is set to hit theatres by the end of this month and the wait is worth! 

 

Tejas Movie Story

The 2-minute 20-second trailer starts with a cluster of IAF Fighter Jets in action, triumphing in the sky with their fierce combat skills. The trailer proceeds with a news mention about an Indian Spy being kept hostage in Pakistan and this is when Tejas Gill (played by Kangana Ranaut) asks her senior officials to allow her to go on this rescue mission. As a part of the squad, she is tasked with rescuing an Indian engineer-turned-spy who is being held by terrorists in Pakistan and has crucial information important to the nation’s security, following which viewers witness Kangana in an action-packed role getting ready for the mission and the breathtaking aerial fight sequences that take place in rescuing the spy. The trailer concludes with Kangana showing true patriotism saying, “When in doubt, think about the nation.”


Tejas Movie Release Date

The movie is said to be ‘India’s First Ariel Movie’ and will be released on October 27, 2023 across theatres.  The film was earlier slated to be released in December 2020. Tejas is the story of Tejas Gill, a brave female IAF officer who is dedicated to protecting the country at any cost. The film also features Tejas, India’s indigenous fighter plane. Earlier, Kangana also revealed glimpses of her interactions with real-life IAF officers on the set of Tejas. The IAF is India’s first defence force to deploy women in combat positions. Tejas is a film set in 2016 that follows the story of a courageous female fighter pilot. Kangana Ranaut spent four months of intensive training to master the specific combat methods implemented by the Indian Forces in order to do justice to the character.
