The Night Manager review: Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s much awaited OTT release ‘The Night Manager’ has finally made it to the screen. The stylish duo has sealed the OTT screen of Disney plus hotstar for their espionage thriller. The Night Manager, which also features Sobhita Dhulipala and Ravi Behl, is directed by Sandeep Modi and Priyanka Ghose together. For those living under the rock the now streaming series  ‘The Night Manager’, is an official adaptation of John Le Carre's novel. You may binge watch Part 1 of the series. But ahead of that here is the crisp review for the same.

The Night Manager review

The Night manager tried matching up with the pace and standard of the popular BBC series of the same name and although the 4 episodes part 1 series have quite strong pros it felt short on the edge. Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s thriller shines among the other OTT releases but in an average way and not what the audience actually anticipated from the duo. While Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur delivered their level best, the role and screen time of the female lead was cut short which seemed quite unfair. Anil Kapoor does a great job portraying Shelly Rungta in The Night Manager, however fans felt there should have been more depth to the character. Aditya Roy Kapur plays the role that is the most difficult to read since he exhibits such a wide range of emotions.

About The Night Manager

The story as the name suggests revolves around the nightlife of a night hotel manager. Shaan Senguta played by Aditya Roy Kapur, an ex-navy lieutenant who works as a hotel's night manager, is the focus of the film The Night Manager. As he discovers a sinister secret about Shelly, played by Anil Kapoor, a powerful business mogul, his entire world is flipped upside down. The performances by Sobhita, Tillotama, Saswata Chatterjee, and Ravi were all commendable as well.
