The Vaccine War Movie: After his controversial yet blockbuster movie “The Kashmir Files” took the nation by storm, director Vivek Agnihotri gears up for his upcoming pandemic-driven movie “The Vaccine War.” The film is based on India’s continuous effort on making Covid-19 Vaccine. On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, the makers released the teaser of the movie. The release date has also been announced, and the movie will be clashing with another highly- anticipated pan-India film.

The Vaccine War Teaser

The 30-second teaser gave a glimpse into the making of the BBV152 vaccine, also known as Covaxin, developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research- National Institute of Virology. It is said that “The Vaccine War” will narrate the story of how scientists triumphed in the difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic. The teaser shows scientists working under extremely stressful circumstances because of the high risks involved, with an intense soundtrack. The movie is anticipated to showcase the unwavering efforts of the medical professionals and scientists who have worked day and night to ensure the safety of indain population in the uncertain times of Covid-19.

The Vaccine War Release Date

Director Vivek Agnihotri took to his Instagram to unveil the teaser of the movie, which is touted to be India’s “first bio-science film” and also announced the release date. The movie stars Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi who is also the producer, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, Sapthami Gowda, among others in the lead roles. The movie will be released in 10 different languages on the big screen. The Vaccine War is slated to release on 28th September, simultaneously clashing with Prabhas starrer Pan-Indian movie “Salaar.”
