The share of India's famous tire company Madras Rubber Factory (MRF) is currently the most expensive stock in the stock market. The price of this share is close to touching Rs 1 lakh. On Monday i.e. May 8, the stock made its all-time high and reached the level of Rs 99,933. That is, the price of 1 share of the company is just Rs 67 less than Rs 1 lakh.
According to reports, when the price of shares increases, companies split them. However, MRF Company has not split this share even once since its listing, due to which the share price has reached Rs 1 lakh. In a split, the shares are divided into double shares.
20 years ago i.e. in May 2003, the share price of MRF was just Rs.1100. At the same time, today its share price is Rs 98,000. That is, since then till now this stock has given 8900 times return. On the other hand, in the last 1 month, the stock has given a return of 13 percent to the investors.
