What Is PCOD?

Polycystic Ovarian Disease or PCOD is a medical condition found in women. The women with this condition observe their ovaries producing immature or partially mature eggs in a huge amount which then become cysts. The cysts enlarge ovaries and secrete Androgens (male hormones) in huge amounts that cause irregular menstrual cycle, infertility etc. PCOD can be controlled by a correct diet and lifestyle.

There are various symptoms of PCOD. Here are a few listed below :

  • Skipped or absence of menstruation cycle.
