May is anticipated to be a significant month for the automobile sector, similar to the previous four months, as some important car launches are slated. Here is a list of the most significant automobile launches scheduled for India in May 2023.
One of the most eagerly awaited debuts of this year is the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. This month will finally see the release of its prices. The 1.5-litre gasoline engine in the Jimny 5-door SUV produces 103 horsepower and 134 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The MG Comet EV was recently introduced in India at a base price of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom), but this month will see the release of prices for higher options. The Comet EV, which is currently the cheapest EV in India, has two doors and four seats and has a range of up to 230 kilometres. Higher trim levels will come with extras like a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster of a similar size, linked technology, etc.
Affordable, compact, smart, sustainable, hi- tech... the list can go on because we are totally simping over the MG Comet EV. 🤩🚗

Altroz Tata CNG Bookings for the Tata Altroz CNG have just become available after it was first shown off at the 2023 Auto Expo in January of this year. An electric sunroof, direct start in CNG mode, cruise control, and new twin-cylinder technology rather than a single larger cylinder will all be standard features on the next Altroz CNG. This will free up more space within the boot. The Altroz CNG models will probably cost roughly Rs 1 lakh more than the equivalent petrol variants.
