This is the first Toyota vehicle to receive a powerful hybrid system in India. The 1.5-liter TNGA Atkinson cycle engine powers the stronger hybrid version of the Hyryder. which produces 92 Hp and 122 Nm of torque. There is an electric motor connected to this engine. This produces 141 Nm of torque and 79 PS of power. The engine and electric motor together produce 115 PS of power. The Toyota Hyryder's stated electric-only range is 25 kilometres. The e-drive transmission from Toyota is paired with this engine. AWD with drive modes will also be available for the Hyryder.

The MG Astor offers two options for petrol engines. The 1.3-liter 220 Turbo engine generates 138 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 220 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm. This engine comes with a standard six-speed automatic torque converter. A 1.5-liter VTi tech engine with 144Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm and 108bhp at 6,000 rpm is also an option for the car. With this engine, you may choose between a manual or an eight-speed CVT.
MG Astor is now priced from Rs 10.52 lakh to Rs 18.43 lakh.
