Due to the increasing Covid-19 cases in the country, various important exams are being cancelled and even postponed. Hence, the UGC-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET Exam) December 2020 cycle (May 2021) which was scheduled to be conducted from 2nd May 2021 until 17th May 2021 has also been postponed.
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the same through a tweet on 20th April 2021. Moreover, it was also stated that the revised dates for the UGC-NET December 2020cycle (May 2021) exam will be announced later, but at least 15 days prior to the examination, on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Hence, students are advised to keep an eye on the official website of NTA which is, ugcnet.nta.nic.in or www.nta.ac.in for the latest updates.
However, the students were quite worried about the delay in the issuance of their UGC-NET Admit card 2021 amongst the speculations of the postponement of the UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) exams.
