Ujjwala Scheme: Yogi Govt Announces Free Gas Cylinders as Diwali Gift

Ujjwala Scheme: The Yogi government has promised to give a gift to the people of Uttar Pradesh on Diwali. The government has declared that all beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will receive free LPG cylinders. Officials have been instructed to deliver LPG cylinders to the houses of all beneficiaries before Diwali. CM Yogi Adityanath stated that all necessary processes should be done on schedule.  

Free Cylinders For Ujjawala Scheme Beneficiaries

The number of Ujjwala beneficiaries in the state is 1.85 Cr, of which only 1.08 Cr have their Aadhar linked and verified with bank accounts. Apart from that, the Chief Minister has asked the police and administration to remain alert around the clock to ensure that no unforeseen incidents occur anywhere in the state.
