Umesh Pal Murder Case: Atique Ahmed’s sister-in-law accuses UP Police of killing brother-in-law and husband

 

Zainab, wife of Atiq Ahmed’s brother and former MLA Ashraf, said, “They (Uttar Pradesh Police) tortured us and they want to kill our brother-in-law and husband outside the jail. We are demanding the security of our husband and brother-in-law from the government.” 

At the same time, Usman’s wife Suhani has accused the police that he was picked up and killed in a fake encounter on Monday.

Arbaaz, who was driving Umesh Pal’s killers’ SUV, was killed in a police encounter in Prayagraj on February 27, a week before Vijay Chowdhary alias Usman and one of the accused, Sadaqat, were apprehended.

Ayesha Noori accused minister Nand Gopal

Ayesha Noori, Atiq Ahmed’s sister, also accused Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, a state government minister, of failing to return Rs 5 crore taken from Atiq Ahmed. Atiq Ahmed and his associates kidnapped Umesh Pal in 2006 and forced him to testify in their favor in court. Umesh Pal had filed a complaint in this regard, and the investigation was ongoing.
