UP News: 8 Accused Including BJP Leader Arrested in Gangrape Case in Kasaganj

UP News: A incidence of gang rape has been reported in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh Pratap Singh, also known as Gabbar, a local BJP leader, was among the accused. It is claimed that a woman who had arrived in Kasganj to see her fiancé was surrounded by 8-10 people.  The girl and her fiancé were apprehended and taken to another place, where the fiancé was held hostage while the girl was gang-raped in front of him.

Made Video and Demanded Money

On March 12, the police filed a case and began an investigation. Eight accused were detained on March 13. This includes Akhilesh Pratap Singh, also known as Gabbar. The woman said that the culprit recorded a video of the incident and released her after accepting 5,000 rupees. According to the officials, the girl was out on a walk with her fiancé when some people approached them and led them to a deserted area. They tied up the fiancé and gang-raped the girl.
