The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB or UPPBPB) has published an official notification for 9534 vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. Out of these 9534 posts, almost 3613 posts are for the unreserved categories, 902 for EwS, 2437 posts for OBC, 1895 for SC and 180 posts for ST. The recruitment process for the vacancy for UP Police SI will commence from 1st April 2021 until 30th April 2021. The number of vacancies for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) is 9027, for Platoon Commander PAC are 484 and Fire Service Second Office are 23.

The age limit of the interested candidates must be from 21 to 28 years of age. However, the candidate belonging to SC, ST, OBC categories will get the relaxation of 5 years in the age limit.
The salary offered to the candidates will be - INR 9,300 to 34,800 with the Grade Pay- INR 4,200
General, SC and OBC candidates- 168 cm
ST candidates- 160 cm
General, OBC and SC candidates- 79 cm without inflating, 84 after inflating
ST candidates- Without inflating 77cm, 82 after inflating
It should be noted that minimum chest inflation must be 5cm.
General, OBC, SC candidates- Minimum 152 cm
ST candidates- 147 cm
The weight for women candidates must be 40 kilograms.
The candidates will be selected for the UP Police SI on the basis of their performance in both written and Physical Screening Test.
The written exam for UP Police SI will consist of Objective type questions of 400 marks. The exam will be conducted in online mode for 2 hours. The exam will be divided into four sections:
General Hindi- 100 marks
General Awareness/ Constitution- 100 marks
Logical/ Intellectual/ Mental Interst- 100 marks
Qualitative and Quantitative exam- 100 marks
The candidates who will qualify for the written exam will be further shortlisted for the Physical screening test. The candidates who will qualify for the physical screening test will be called for Medical testing on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination of UP Police SI.
Men- The candidates must finish a 4.8 km race in 28 minutes
Women- The candidates must finish a 2.4 km race in 16 minutes

SC/ST- 400 Rs.
