Upcoming Hindi Movies and Shows on OTT
Lust Stories 2
The story has received much hype as real life lovebirds Tamannah Bhatia and Vijay Varma will be seen romancing as on-screen couples in the second season of Lust Stories. Lust Stories 2 is an anthology of four stories put together, directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh. Apart from Tamannah and Vijay, the show also stars Kajol, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta, and Kumud Mishra. Lust Stories Season 2 will be premiered on Netflix from June 29th.
The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha
The Suparn Varma-directed web series is an adaptation of the Julianna Margulies “The Good Wife”. The teaser was released earlier in June, offering fans a sneak peek at the engrossing drama. The series also marks the digital debut of Actress Kajol. The story revolves around additional judge named Rajeev Sengupta, who is imprisoned after being suspected of receiving sexual favours as payment for services, leaving his wife Noyonika (Kajol) and his two daughters to handle all the media attention. Following this, Noyonika returns to the court as a lawyer to get her life back on track. The show will be premiered on Disney+ Hotstar from 14th July.

The movie was released in theatres on 12th May, 2023, and is now all set to make its OTT release in July. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the movie stars Vidyut Jamwal in intense action scenes and powerpacked stunts, who is also seen in movies like Commando series, Force, and more. Vidyut Jammwal is playing the role of IB Agent Dev Jammwal in the movie, which also stars Anupam Kher, Vishal Jethwa, Faizan Khan, Ashwath Bhatt, Danny Sura, Dalip Tahil, and Suvrat Joshi. The movie will be released on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on 7th July.
Bawaal
Though the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer direct-to-OTT release was scheduled to be released on 7th April, 2023, the makers postponed it to July, 2023. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie is a love story which addresses social classism and the use of marriage to achieve social importance. The movie is expected to stream on Amazon Prime.
