Netflix 2025 Slate: Among the array of announcements made by Netflix are the six Netflix original films that have taken the attention of everyone. From unique plotlines to fresh castings on screen, the list of films are already creating a lot of buzz. Let’s shift the focus on all the six upcoming films of Netflix slated to be released in 2025.
Aap Jesa Koi
Joining forces for the first time R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh play the two uniquely opposite lovers Shrirenu Tripathi and Madhu Bose. Aap Jesa Koi is a modern day romantic drama film with a nostalgia of the retro in each of its frames. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Productions with Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. The romance film is a Vivek Soni directorial.
Dhoom Dhaam
Helmed by Rishab Seth, Dhoom Dhaam features Yami Gautam and Prateik Gandhi as two ends of a pole. One is a fierce young woman, the other is a timid mumma’s boy tied in the knots of a wedding. Their first night together turns out to be an unwelcome adventure filled with guns, guns, and romance. The action-romance is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar.
Nadaaniyan
With a stellar cast of Ibrahim Ali Khan, making his on-screen debut, Khushi Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhary, Suneil Shetty, Dia Mirza and Juggal Hansraj, Nadaaniyan is a romantic drama film from the house of Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. The film follows Kapoor as a rich girl Pia (Kapoor) who hires Arjun (Khan) to be her pretend boyfriend.

Jewel Thief- The Heist Begins
Collaborating with the director-producer Siddharth Anand are Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat in a thrilling heist drama. Directed by Robbie Grewal and Kookie Gulati, the film follows a crime lord (Ahalawat) to hire a charming jewel thief (Khan) to steal ‘The African Red Sun’, a rare diamond worth Rs. 500 crore.
Test
Test is a sports drama film marking the directorial debut of Sasikanth, the producer of the Y Not Studios. With a star-studded cast of Nayanthara, R. Madhavan and Siddharth the film is centered around the sports of cricket reflecting the test of life.
Toaster
Sanya Malhotra and Rajkummar Rao starrer Toaster is a blend of chaos and comedy as it follows a miser fixated on a toaster amid murder and mayhem. Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, the film is the first production of Rao’s actor-wife Patralekha under their banner Kampa Films.
