The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for its Civil Service Exam (CSE) Prelims and Indian Forest Service Prelims Exam on 4th March 2021. The notification has been released on the official website of UPSC which is, upsc.gov.in for a total of 822 vacancies for the posts such as IAS, IPS, etc. As per the UPSC Prelims 2021 notification, the IAS and IFS Prelims exams will be conducted on 27th June 2021.
Along with the UPSC Prelims 2021 notification, the online applications process for the Union Civil Service Exam Prelims has also started. All the interested candidates can visit the official website of UPSC which is, upsconline.nic.in to apply for the Civil Service Prelims exam until 24th March 2021.
To apply for the UPSC CSE and IFS (Prelims) 2021 exam, a candidate must be a graduate of any recognised board or university. Moreover, the candidates are required to submit their graduation certificate or mark sheet before the last date of application.
The candidates before 1st August 2021 must not be less than 21 years of age and more than 32 years of age. However, while considering the reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC and others, an age relaxation benefit will be available.
As per the UPSC IAS Notification 2021, the number of attempts for the students belonging to general categories has been limited to 6. However, for the candidates belonging to OBC, the number of attempts are 9 and there is no prescribed limit for the attempts for students belonging to SC and ST categories.
