UPSC Exam Notification 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the civil service exam (CSE) 2022. The notification includes the details on the application fdate, eligibility criteria, exam pattern and the number of vacancies. A total of 861 vacancies has been notified by the commission. Candidates can apply through the website — upsc.gov.in. or upsconline.nic.in.
The application process will remain open till February 22 till 6 pm. The UPSC will conduct the Civil Service prelims 2022 exam on June 5.
The first level of the IAS Exam is the Preliminary Examination which is the screening test. Candidates have to qualify for this exam in order to move to the next step. The score obtained in the UPSC Prelims exam 2022 will not be calculated in the final merit. The GS Paper-I is essential to determine the cutoff of the UPSC Prelims Exam 2022. The IAS Prelims Exam paper consists of two papers that are objective-type MCQ-based. The UPSC Mains Exam is a descriptive exam consisting of 9 papers.
The official notification for IAS Exam is released by UPSC in February and the UPSC Exam is mostly scheduled on the first Sunday of June. The UPSC has already released the exam schedule for UPSC Exam 2022.

Candidates who are selected after the UPSC Mains Exam move to the final level of the UPSC Exam called Personality Test/Interview. Here, the candidates are interviewed by a competent board. This board will have the candidate's DAF (Detail Application Form) with them.
The interview round is held to assess the candidate's social traits and his interest in current affairs.
The candidates can give interviews in their preferred language. UPSC will make arrangements for the translators.
