US Releases A Statement On The ‘Kanwar Yatra Nameplate’ Issue

World News:  The US State Department Spokesperson, Matthew Miller recently released a statement on the ongoing ‘Kanwar Yatra Nameplate’ issue by responding to the question raised by a Pakistani journalist. Matthew underscored, “They’re not actually in effect”

Spokesperson Miller said, “We have seen those reports. We have also seen the reports that the Indian Supreme Court on July 22 issued an interim stay on the implementation of those rules. So they’re not actually in effect” referring to the Supreme Court stay order on order passed by Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand to display the name of the owner of the food stalls in the route of the Kanwar Yatra.
