Trump Warns Apple CEO Tim Cook, “Don't Want You Building iPhones In India”

Trump warns Apple:  US President Donald Trump has warned Apple CEO Tim Cook to limit his expansion of manufacturing iPhones and other Apple products in India because, according to Trump, “India can look after itself.”

Trump’s statement has irked officials in New Delhi over his brusque remark about the Indian economy and openly warning Cook not to support India in any manner. In his statement, Trump said, “I had a little problem with Tim Cook yesterday. I said to him, my friend, I am treating you very good. You are coming up with $500 billion, but now I hear you are building all over India. I don't want you building in India. You can build in India, if you want to take care of India because India is one of the highest tariff nations in the world, so it is very hard to sell in India.”
