Vaishali Takkar committed suicide at around 12:30 pm on Saturday night (15 October 2022) at his house on Khandwa Road, Indore. The police also found a five-page suicide note from the spot, in which the actress wrote about her ex-boyfriend Rahul apart from her troubles. Vaishali Takkar suicide note wrote in the suicide note that Rahul was harassing her. He had humiliated them physically and mentally. Based on this, Indore Police registered a case against Vaishali Thakkar Rahul, his wife Disha Navlani.

Vaishali's mother demanded justice for her daughter and told that her daughter's life was ruined because of Rahul. Talking to reporters, he said, 'Everyone knows it.
