Vande Bharat Metro: You might have travelled in the Vande Bharat train. The Indian Railways is now preparing to launch the country’s first Vande Bharat Metro, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 16. While it operates similarly to the metro in major cities such as Delhi and Mumbai, this train will travel 334 kilometers in 5 hours and 45 minutes.
The first Vande Bharat Metro would run between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in Gujarat. The metro will depart from Bhuj at 5:50 a.m. and arrive in Ahmedabad at 10:50 a.m. the same day. Following this, it will depart Ahmedabad at 5:30 p.m. and arrive in Bhuj at 11:10 p.m. This train service will be offered to the public six days a week. There will be nine stations along the Bhuj-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Metro route.
