Kargil Vijay Diwas Video: Kargil hero Paramveer Chakra winner Sanjay Kumar was warmly welcomed on the Indigo flight going from Delhi to Pune. As soon as the captain of the plane came to know that Paramveer Chakra winner Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar was also among the passengers on the plane, he came out of the cabin and informed the passengers.

IndiGo shared the viral video on its Twitter page. Major Sanjay Kumar may be seen seated on his seat. He is surrounded by crew members and pilots. After some time, the pilot announces, “We have a very special person with us today. Paramveer Chakra winner Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar ji.” For the uninitiated, this honour has only been awarded to 21 persons in Indian history. It is the most prestigious bravery award given for a war.
