Sidhartha Mallya Family & Education
Sidhartha was born on 7 May 1987 in Los Angeles, California to Vijay Mallay, a businessman, and Samira Tyabjee Mallya former air hostess. His formative years were spent in England with his family, who moved to the United States soon after his birth.

For his formative education as a teen, he was sent to the Papplewick School, a boarding school in Ascot followed by his college education at Wellington College, Berkshire, and Queen Mary University of London. At the former, he acquired a bachelor's degree in business management.
Sid as he likes to call himself has an inclination towards acting. He has a Master of Arts diploma in Acting for Screen from the University of London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2016.

Manager & Director
Trying a hand at many careers, Sidharth boasts of a diverse but inefficacious portfolio to his name. He started his career as an assistant brand manager at Guinness at Diageo. After his short stint at Diageo, he took up the chair of Royal Challengers Bangalore- an IPL cricket team’s director in early 2019. Under his leadership, he looked over RCB’s “Green Initiatives” which claimed to make it the world's first carbon-neutral sports team through fan engagement. His association with RCB’s team players continued for his internet talk show called “No Boundaries” majorly featuring the team players over the program written and hosted by him.
Modeling & Acting (2012-2020)
Changing his path from business to acting and modelling, he modeled for Lakme Fashion Week 2012 as a showstopper for his debut with designer Kamal Sood followed by a ramp show for designer Shantanu and Nikhil at the Indian Bridal Week. In 2014 he also had a YouTube programme called ‘Sid Sessions’.
His acting career started with a sex comedy film Brahman Naman directed by Q and produced by Steve Barron in 2016. He starred as Vin in the American drama ‘Best Fake Friends’ in the same year. He was last featured in an episode of a Netflix documentary on her father called ‘Bad Boy Billionaires.’
Writer (2021-)
In 2021, he published his autobiography titled ‘If I’m Honest: A Memoir of My Mental Health Journey’- a book on his struggles with alcohol, depression, and his parent’s divorce. His second book ‘Sad Glad’ is a children's book published by the Puffin imprint of Penguin’s children’s division in 2024.

Sidhartha Mallya Relationships
Prior to Jasmine, Mallya was rumored to be with Deepika Padukone. The two were snapped together numerous times but disclosed nothing on the matter. In November 2023, he proposed to his would-be bride Jasmine on one knee, and the two are set to marry in the third week of June 2024.
