Many debates surrounded the movie, and some even dubbed it “propaganda,” and now director Vivek Agnihotri is all set to release ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’. The filmmaker shared the teaser and announced the sequel of ‘The Kashmir Files’, which is anticipated to be in a web-series format.

Director Vivek Agnihotri shared the teaser of his upcoming project ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’, and announced that the sequel will be made as a web series, not a movie. The series-based non-fiction story will be released on the OTT platform Zee5. Agnihotri shared a glimpse of ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’ with the caption, “A lot of Genocide Deniers, terror supporters & enemies of Bharat questioned The Kashmir Files. Now bringing to you the VULGAR truth of Kashmir Genocide of Hindus which only a devil can question. Coming soon #KashmirUNREPORTED. Be ready to cry. Only on ZEE5 India.” Zee5 also shared the news promising that the viewers will “rediscover the neglected chapters of Kashmiri Pandits history.”

The film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi and was released on March 11, 2022, gained a lot of mixed reactions from the public, created controversies, caused uproar in the nation, but went on to become one of the most financially successful Indian films of the year. Currently, Vivek Agnihotri is working on his next movie ‘The Vaccine War’, starring Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, and Nana Patekar. The movie will be released on August 15 in 11 languages including Hindi, English, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Assamese.
