Jr NTR to join War 2 cast

With Jr. NTR joining the cast of the War sequel, the actor will square off against Hrithik Roshan in what promises to be a battle of the giants. At the end of the year, Ayan Mukerji will begin filming and directing War 2. With the pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, who is now riding a global wave of success with the Oscar-winning RRR, the movie is hailed as a true blue pan-Indian event. Insiders claim that War 2 will be an “action spectacle”, featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR in a “war of wits and the fiery showdown”.

A source revealed, “The move by Aditya Chopra enables War 2 to have the widest audience appeal for a Hindi Film and also amped up the box office potential of the film. The Southern market should come alive and connect at an even bigger level due to the presence of their beloved young tiger – NTR Jr.”

SRK, Salman and Hrithik in Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe

Tiger Shroff also appeared in the 2019 film War. Siddharth Anand directed the film, and he later directed Pathaan for YRF. After his fantasy action adventure Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji will return to the world of the YRF spy universe in War 2. Surprisingly, Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe has some of the country's biggest actors. Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Jr. NTR are all set to collaborate to develop this universe. After Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, War 2 will be the sixth film in this universe. There have also been rumors about a film called Tiger Vs Pathaan.
