Weather News: Heavy Rain and Dust Storm in Delhi-NCR Caused Delay of Over 100 Flights

Weather News: Late Saturday evening, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red signal for thunderstorms and showers. Following this, there was heavy rain, strong winds, thunderstorm, and lighting late Saturday night, providing relief from the heat. However, people face challenges owing to waterlogging in many areas, including Moti Bagh, Minto Road, Delhi Cantonment, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. 

Flights Delayed, Airlines Issues Advisory

Waterlogging near Moti Bagh, Minto Road, and Delhi Airport Terminal 1 has increased the problem, resulting in the cancellation of over 100 flights. According to the information, over 25 flights had to be diverted, and many were delayed. The airline has issued an advisory to passengers, advising them to check their flight status on a frequent basis and stay in touch with airline staff for updates.
