Weather Update: A much-needed relief from the heat and humidity visited the capital city with strong winds and light drizzles. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Delhi on Wednesday, with similar weather conditions predicted to persist till 5 and 6 June.
The early arrival monsoon has now stalled for some time, with no signs of movement. However, heavy downpours in the northeastern states have resulted in severe flooding in the states of Manipur, Sikkim, and Assam.
