In Delhi-NCR, residents woke up to heavy rain on 31st July that has continued from last night leading to waterlogged roads. IMD has issued an alert for Delhi-NCR, forecasting heavy rain, thunderstorms with gusty winds, and lightning today. Haryana is on a red alert for heavy rain as well.
In Madhya Pradesh, heavy rainfall has resulted in flood-like situations. The Indian army has intervened to take out rescue operations in Guna and Shivpuri. Several villages have been flooded with 500 houses destroyed.
