Weather Update: IMD Forecast Heavy Rain in 12 States, Temperature Expected to Decline on Holi

Weather Update: These days, the weather has been fluctuating in every two-three days, with rain, snowfall, and scorching heat recorded in many areas. While the hilly regions are still experiencing heavy snowfall and rainfall in states including Uttarakhand and Jammu-Kashmir, the plains are facing trouble from the rising temperatures due to scorching sun throughout the day. However, due to the western disturbance, mild cold is still felt in the early morning hours and in the nighttime. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of rain in many parts of North India. 

Weather Update This Week

A western disturbance is forming around Iraq, which may affect some sections of the country in the coming days. The Meteorological Department predicts a heat wave in Gujarat until March 12. At the same time, temperatures in North-West India will rise during the following several days.  There is also a chance of snow and rain in Jammu & Kashmir on March 10. There is also a chance of rain in Tamil Nadu. On March 11, a rain alert was issued across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam.
