25 May, 2025

Weather Update: The weather is continuously fluctuating in the country, particularly in the North Indian region. The recent rains and dust storm gave much needed relief to the citizens from the scorching heat in the national capital and other states, however, it also caused waterlogging and massive destruction to infrastructure and public property. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a severe storm is expected to hit Delhi-NCR and other regions in the coming days.

Thunderstorm Alert in Delhi-NCR

The weather department has warned that the cyclonic storm could return in Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi NCR on May 28th.  The cyclone is created because of hot winds in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. People are advised to stay cautious during such storms.
