Weather Update: Northern India has been experiencing bouts of rain in several states, while the Delhi-NCR region grapples with humidity and heat. The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in the capital city from Monday, with a rain alert issued for Laxmi Nagar, Patparganj, Anand Vihar, and other regions for the entire week.
In Uttar Pradesh, heavy rain is expected on 9 August with extremely heavy rainfall for the next 24 hours in 46 districts and heavy rain with thunderstorms and lightning in 64 districts.
IMD has issued an orange alert in Bihar’s East and West Champaran, while a yellow alert has been issued for Siwan, Sheohar, and Gopalganj.
